sulamot knessetThis week the Welfare, Labor and Health Committee in the Knesset held a special session focusing on the importance of music in education.  The event features SULAMOT, a unique therapeutic and educational project of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra for children at risk, which first opened at our Emunah Neve Michael Children's Village.  Our children were invited to play in the Knesset and made a lasting impression on all present.  Introducing them Yehiam Cherlow, the educational director of Neve Michael told the members of the committee about the huge benefits of this program and the effect it has on their entire lives.  "A child playing in the orchestra, on the stage, in front of an audience, can turn to me and say -- look at me! - I can do something that even you, the director, can't do".
