What an amazing day, as more than 170 students from our various Emunah אמונה Israel's Youth Villages and schools joined the thousands of runners at the Jerusalem Marathon, on Friday, March 17. Students came from Neve Michael, Achuzat Sarah, Afula, Bet Elazraki and Omanuiot High School (all Emunah projects). This was a day not to forget! Thank you, to all those who made it possible for our pupils to run and be a part of this historic event.

On Monday morning, February 20, the auditorium at Emunah Appleman College of Arts & Technology was packed with young ladies and Emunah Leaders, excited to hear who the winners of the Rabbinit Sarah Herzog Scholarship Fund for 2017, would be!
Nearly 70 students were awarded this prestigious scholarship. Nominees are chosen for their expressed desire to advance themselves academically and, ultimately, to acquire professional training and a vocation, empowering them to become self-sufficient and productive adults. Additionally, the young ladies are known for their “Chessed” and willingness to help others, in need.
To all the kind donors,
I want to say thank you very very much to all of you for your help and donations, thank you for being awesome and helping others.

Emunah Women Take Action! Pictured in a recent article of Yediot Achronot, Israel's largest newspaper, is World Emunah Chairman Dina Hahn (with grey Emunah banner) and, Tsipporet Shimel (next to Dinah), Emunah's legal council for Legislation and Public Affairs, demonstrating in front of the Israeli High Court. On Wednesday, January 11, the High Court heard a petition to overturn a Get that was given by the Tzfat Bet Din to a woman who's husband has been in coma for a very long time. The dayanim were very compassionate in finding a creative solution to this situation and release the spouse from years of being imprisoned in a state of Agunut. Can you imagine her horror when a stranger, instigated by Haredi rabbis petitioned to overturn the decision and rescind the Get?! I call that "sinat hinam". Emunah took a leading stand and we were out there to protest the suit and show our support for the plaintiff.
