On January 31st (Tu B'Shvat) Emunah Israel English Speaking Chapters held a very successful Annual National Volunteers Day Luncheon at Vitrage in Nes Ziona with awards to outstanding volunteers to
Shirley Weiner, Delia Yaeger, Martelle Gavarin, Allane Decinal, Sandy Ironi, Eleanor Leibowitz, Linda Schlosberg, Jeanette Persoff, Mildred Margolis, Sharon Levy, Betty Warach and Anne Klausner.
The highlight of the event was the reviting lecture by attorney Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, the Founder and President of Shurat Hadin.
Her subject was "Fighting Against Terrorism and For Israel in Court." She received a standing ovation and loud applause at the end of her Talk from the 200 plus women and men who were present.
Preceding her talk, certificates were presented to various Emunah ladies for their outstanding volunteerism for Emunah by the National Chairman of the English Speaking Chapters, Evelynne Goldman.
Prior to the Luncheon there was a Bazaar where vendors gave donations for their sales. We also had delightful entertainment provided by the choir and drum ensemble of the Emunah Neve Landy Boys' Village
in Even Shmuel, making the whole day a memorable occasion.
